European Contemporary Print Triennial 2019

The aims of the Triennial
- To show contemporary European printmaking.
- To show contemporary printmaking from the Midi Pyrenees region.
- To promote meetings and exchanges between artists from the region and the rest of Europe.

Dates
The exhibitions will take place from February to the end of July 2019.

Prizes
Each of the exhibitions will have a purchase prize.
The First Prize for the European Triennial will be awarded by a jury of professionals.
It will include a subsidised personal exhibition at “Le Majorat “Visual Arts Centre in
Villeneuve-Tolosane with free transport and accommodation.
The second prize will include the purchase of 2 of the exhibited works.

Eligibility
Open to all artists of any age and nationality living in the selected countries.
Registration is free.
The prints will be sent back free of charge to the artists by Estampadura.

Techniques
All printmaking techniques are accepted : from traditional techniques to digital ones.

Theme
No theme is imposed.

Size of work
The size of the paper must be either 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm, 50x65 cm or 50x70 cm.

Short-listing of the works
Before October, 30 th, 2018 the artists must send by e-mail
- a good quality photograph of three recent prints
- for each photo, a fiche ,( in attachment too)
with the name and address of the artist, the title and dimensions of the print,
the technique used and the number of prints in the edition,
- the entry form below (attached too).
A jury made up of artists competent in each technique will meet to select the artists for each country.
The selected artists will be notified by mail of the jury’s decisions
and of the way to deliver the 3 prints.
